ADAMANT ends support for Lisk after the LSK migration to Optimism

ADAMANT will not support the upcoming Lisk (LSK) migration from its Layer 1 (L1) blockchain to the Ethereum/Optimism Layer 2 (L2) solution. The Lisk L1 blockchain is scheduled to cease operations at block 24,823,618, anticipated around May 21, 2024. While ADAMANT has historically supported all major Lisk migrations from version 1 through version 4, the shift to an Ethereum-based L2 represents a strategic realignment that ADAMANT has chosen not to follow.

LSK L1 token holders must transfer their holdings from ADAMANT to the Lisk Desktop wallet to facilitate a 1-to-1 swap for LSK L2 tokens. All transfers must be completed before May 21st to ensure a seamless transition to the L2 tokens. ADAMANT Messenger & Wallet will not support the LSK migration process.

Instead, ADAMANT is shifting its support to the Klayr network, which will be the new identity for the original Lisk L1 blockchain. The Klayr (KLY) coin will be supported within ADAMANT’s wallet applications, allowing all token operations and in-chat transfers. The Klayr team will airdrop KLY coins to LSK holders based on their holdings at the time of the snapshot. Although ADAMANT users with LSK in their wallets are eligible for the airdrop, there is no guarantee that future Klayr wallet private keys will match Lisk’s. Therefore, users are strongly advised to move LSK to the Lisk Desktop wallet for the migration.
