ADAMANT is an open-source, decentralized messenger where the infrastructure is sustained by ADM tokens rather than corporate ownership. Each message costs ADM, and those fees go to network participants who support the blockchain. Because there is no centralized governing body, no one can access other users’ messages, block accounts, or halt the network. Security is guaranteed by cryptography, and network integrity is maintained by users who act as delegates and forging pools.
Several methods exist for obtaining ADM tokens, ranging from free distribution to exchange purchases and bounty rewards.
Free Tokens for New Users
Each new ADAMANT user can receive 0.1 ADM upon account creation. This amount is sufficient to send approximately 100 messages. These free tokens cannot be sold because the minimum transaction fee for transfers is 0.5 ADM.
To get started, create an account at the ADAMANT messenger web client. Save the generated passphrase securely — it is the only credential needed to log in on any device, and losing it means losing access to the account. After logging in, your ADAMANT address is displayed; share it with contacts to exchange messages.
Click the free tokens button and complete a captcha to receive 0.1 ADM within about a minute.
ADAMANT Bounty Bot
An interactive bounty bot within the messenger distributes ADM rewards for social activity tasks. Rewards are issued automatically and instantly after task completion. The bot can be contacted directly via the messenger.
Buying ADM on Cryptocurrency Exchanges
ADM tokens trade on cryptocurrency exchanges at market price. To use this method, you create an exchange account and complete any required verification. Note that exchanges typically require identity disclosure, so this approach may not suit users with strong anonymity requirements.
After depositing funds — whether in cryptocurrency or fiat supported by the exchange — you can place or accept orders for trading pairs such as ADM/USDT or ADM/BTC. If you only hold BTC and the pair is ADM/USDT, you first need to trade BTC for USDT.
In-Messenger Exchange Bots
Since July 2019, ADAMANT has supported in-messenger crypto exchange bots that allow anonymous, instant token swaps directly in chat. For example, you can exchange ETH for ADM or vice versa. Pricing is market-based, and the bot charges a fee. Terms of service are available within the bot chat. Third-party operators can also create their own exchange bots on the platform and earn fees.
Buying ADM on the ADAMANT Website
The ADAMANT project website offers a fixed-rate token purchase option. Unlike exchange or bot pricing, the rate is not market-driven — the fixed rate is 0.0002 BTC per ADM. This method is best understood as a donation to the project in exchange for tokens. In addition to BTC, the site accepts ETH, LTC, DOGE, DASH, and LSK.
To use this method, visit the token purchase page (accessible from links within the messenger), specify your receiving ADM address, select the cryptocurrency and amount to send, and click “Buy Tokens.” You receive a deposit address with copy and QR code options. Once your transaction reaches 6 blockchain confirmations, ADM tokens are credited to your account.
Voting for Forging Pools
Users who already hold ADM can vote for a forging pool and receive periodic rewards. A maintained list of network pools with voting instructions is available. Users with sufficient tokens can also create their own pool or run for delegate status.
Bounty and Development Rewards
The ADAMANT project periodically runs bounty campaigns that pay ADM for contributions such as development work, regional promotion, or other forms of cooperation. These campaigns are announced through the project’s social channels.
