ADAMANT uses delegated Proof of Stake (dPoS) as its blockchain consensus protocol. Delegates ranked in the top 101 active spots forge blocks and earn transaction fees. A forging pool is itself a delegate, so the same voting process applies whether you are supporting an individual delegate or a pool. You can vote for any delegate, including your own.
Prerequisites
Any account holding at least 50 ADM can vote. The voting fee is 50 ADM regardless of how many delegates you vote for — up to 30 at a time — and is deducted from your account and forged by current delegates. You can upvote to add support or downvote to withdraw a previous vote.
Voting via the web wallet
Log in at msg.adamant.im and navigate to Settings → Vote for delegates. This screen lists all registered ADAMANT delegates along with their rank and your current votes.
The Name column shows the registered delegate name and Rank shows its position; only the top 101 delegates forge blocks. Clicking a delegate name expands additional information to help you decide whether to support it.
Use the thumbs-up and thumbs-down icons to upvote or downvote delegates, then click Review voting to confirm your selections and Vote to apply the changes.
Voting via Console
Voting can also be performed through the ADAMANT Console. This option is intended for advanced users and is not recommended for regular wallet users.
