Google Play is the largest app store, available in 151 countries. Publishing the Messenger on Google Play is an important milestone for the ADAMANT project, and the application is currently published as an alpha release. Full availability is expected by June 20.
Like the iOS version, the Android app is published by ADAMANT TECH LABS. It includes all the features of the web application, such as integrated crypto wallets, in-chat cryptocurrency transfers, a dark theme, and user-defined passwords.
ADAMANT Messenger is a decentralized and anonymous blockchain messenger, independent of governments, corporations, and developers. It operates on a distributed network infrastructure with open-source code. The app requires neither phone numbers nor emails, and it has no access to contact lists or geotags. IPs are hidden from other users. The ADAMANT blockchain system belongs to its users, meaning nobody can control, block, deactivate, restrict, or censor accounts. Users retain full responsibility for their content, messages, and media.
Security is a core focus. All messages are encrypted using Diffie-Hellman Curve25519, Salsa20, and Poly1305 algorithms, and signed with SHA-256 and Ed25519 EdDSA. Private keys are never transferred to the network, and the blockchain guarantees the sequence and authenticity of messages.
The app also functions as a crypto wallet. A single password provides access to internal cryptocurrencies, including ADAMANT, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge, Dash, Binance coin, and others, with users maintaining full control over their private keys. Users can send and receive cryptocurrency transfers directly within chats. Additionally, anyone can set up an anonymous exchanger via ADAMANT, specifying fees, daily limits, and trading pairs.
